San Antonio’s Culinary Scene Shines Bright for a Good Cause

From June 6 to June 20, 2026, the San Antonio Food Bank Restaurant Weeks returns, combining the flavors of local cuisine with the mission to combat hunger. This initiative brings together beloved San Antonio restaurants to create a farm-to-table experience, allowing diners to savor the freshest seasonal produce sourced directly from the Food Bank's on-site agricultural program. The event celebrates not just the culinary artistry of local chefs but also highlights the social imperative of addressing food insecurity in the community.

Dine Out and Make a Difference

Like the first year, this campaign has a clear goal: to support the Food Bank’s Summer Meals for Kids program, which aims to fill a critical gap in the 20 million meals children depend on during summer breaks. Each restaurant will contribute a portion of its earnings—$1 from each signature dish sold will directly support the initiative, translating to approximately seven meals for children in need for every dollar raised.

Participating Restaurants Showcase Local Flavors

This year, several renowned San Antonio establishments have already committed to participate, including Supper at Hotel Emma, Pharm Table, and The Jerk Shack, each bringing their unique culinary perspective to the table. These restaurants will feature signature dishes crafted from the Food Bank's harvests, offering a delightful dining experience while directly benefiting those less fortunate.

A Call to the Community

The San Antonio Food Bank encourages locals to explore their dining scene and help those in need by enjoying the delicious offerings during this culinary event. With each plate served, diners contribute to their community’s welfare, fostering a sense of togetherness and support while tasting the best in local cuisine.

Your Opportunity to Support

As we look forward to another successful restaurant weeks, remember that every meal counts! Whether you're a foodie looking to explore the vibrant San Antonio restaurant scene or simply want to make a meaningful difference, mark your calendars and get ready to enjoy a summer full of flavor and compassion.
